New special booklets for parents of kindergarten children
How can I help my child to find their way in a large group of children? What can I expect at the first parent-teacher conference? And how can I tell that my child is ready for first grade after two years of kindergarten? Parents of kindergarten children have many questions.
The challenges in kindergarten are numerous. When your boy or daughter starts kindergarten, the first stage of primary school begins: Sitting still in a circle of chairs, stretching, being part of a large heterogeneous group in which everyone has to be considerate of each other - all of this should prepare your child for learning at school, lovingly taught by their new carers.
Of course, there will also be plenty of fun, romping around, marvelling and free and easy play. And yet: your child will have to make a huge adjustment during these two years. These new challenges will also leave their mark on family life.
This is precisely why Fritz+Fränzi created the kindergarten series. Since 2016, the editorial team has been targeting parents of nursery school children with a total of four magazines, with the aim of supporting them during the exciting nursery school years and acting as a beacon and companion.
Two revised editions will be published this spring:
- The «Kindergarten booklet "1st year/Spring 2022» entitled «Well settled in» is aimed at parents of children in their first year of kindergarten.

- The «Kindergarten booklet "Year 2/Spring 2022» with the title «Bye Chindsgi!» is aimed at parents of future first-graders.

The special kindergarten issues «Gut eingelebt» and «Tschüss Chindsgi!» are supported by the Swiss Teachers' Association LCH. The editors of Fritz+Fränzi worked closely with Ruth Fritschi, member of the LCH Executive Board and President of the Cycle 1 Level Commission, on the planning and implementation. Following her unexpected death in November 2021, her successor Christian Hugi will take over this important task. We are very happy about this.

I wish your child an exciting time at school and a wonderful start to first grade. And to you, dear parents, I hope you enjoy reading.
Yours sincerely - Evelin Hartmann
Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Swiss parents' magazine Fritz+Fränzi
