Newsletter
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require your email address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter.
We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, your email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the «Unsubscribe» link in the newsletter.
Registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary to prevent anyone from registering with someone else's email address.
Newsletter subscriptions are logged in order to be able to verify the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes storing the time of registration and confirmation, as well as the IP address. Any changes to your data stored with MailChimp are also logged.
MailChimp
The newsletter is sent via MailChimp, a newsletter distribution platform provided by the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as other data described in this notice, are stored on MailChimp's servers in the United States. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp may use this data to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. for technical optimisation of the sending and presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes to determine the countries from which the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass it on to third parties.
We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement «Privacy Shield» and is therefore committed to complying with EU data protection requirements. Furthermore, we have concluded a Data Processing Agreement with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp undertakes to protect our users' data, to process it on our behalf in accordance with its privacy policy and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties. You can view MailChimp's privacy policy here.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. («Google»). Google Analytics uses «cookies», which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.
By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Blocking cookies
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time, either completely or partially. If cookies are disabled, you may not be able to use all the features of this website.
Facebook Pixel
Our website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA («Facebook») to measure conversions.
This allows the behaviour of visitors to the website to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimised.
The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, enabling a connection to the respective user profile and allowing Facebook to use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook's data usage policy. This enables Facebook to display advertisements on Facebook pages and outside Facebook. As the website operator, we have no influence over this use of data.
You can find further information on protecting your privacy in Facebook's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also disable the «Custom Audiences» remarketing feature in the ad settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.
