  1. Important: Take the reluctance seriously. Ask questions. «Why don't you want to get up today, why don't you want to go to nursery?» Asking is expressly permitted. Show genuine interest, but don't hesitate to point out that you yourself are not always highly motivated in the morning.
  2. Talk to your child's kindergarten teacher. They will certainly know more about the reasons why your child is struggling in Chindsgi. Work out a plan together: Pick your child up earlier for once or smuggle a little surprise into the snack box.
  3. Share your secret trick with your child: Look, I have to go to a really tedious meeting with my boss today. When I don't feel like it anymore, I get up and quickly go to the toilet. There I do a gymnastic exercise, the jumping jack, and sing a funny song. After that, I'm in a better mood again and can get through the session. Would you like to try this too?
  4. Mum needs a second coffee, son a delicious chocolate roll. Treat yourself and your child to a culinary push into the day. A babyccino (frothed milk in an espresso cup) in the morning or a croissant in your hand instead of muesli at home works wonders - and you're on your way to kindergarten.
  5. The mystery of a stomach ache: Many parents are at a loss when their child complains of a stomach ache. Is it the stomach flu or does the child simply want to stay in bed for a while, preferably with a story and a cup of tea? If you suspect psychological reasons for the tummy ache, try this: lie in bed with your child and tell them the story of seriousness . The seriousness of life doesn't always want to get up in the morning either. But if all the Ernsts in the world stay in bed all the time, Mrs Baumann will be all alone in kindergarten. That would be a shame, wouldn't it?

If the crisis persists or if the child refuses to attend kindergarten for several days, you should talk to the teacher. There may be more serious reasons than temporary reluctance.
