The founder of the Unterstrass comprehensive school, Prof Dieter Rüttimann, is a lecturer in basic and further training for teachers at the Unterstrass Institute (Zurich University of Teacher Education) in communication and general didactics. Nicolas Rüttimann (lic. phil.) is a neuropsychologist, educational scientist and secondary school teacher. He has been head of the Unterstrass comprehensive school since 2021.
