«Kindergarteners feel their way around the world»
Part 2: Severin Hofer, kindergarten teacher in Risch-Rotkreuz (ZG)
Severin Hofer is a nursery school teacher in Risch-Rotkreuz. There is a theatre stage in his kindergarten, with home-made objects hanging from the ceiling wherever you look - a colourful world! «Nursery school children can't read and write yet, they experience the world through touch at this age,» says Severin Hofer.
The young teacher approaches his lessons with sensitivity and passion. Telling a story doesn't just mean reading out of a picture book, says Hofer. «Stories only really come to life on the theatre stage, in handicrafts or when philosophising with the primary school pupils!».
