ADHD - just jittery or ill?
ADHD is the most common behavioural disorder in children and adolescents and is characterised by a strong urge to move, lack of concentration and impulsiveness. In his lecture, paediatrician Oskar Jenni explains why the diagnosis is often challenging for doctors.
What opportunities does an ADHD diagnosis harbour?
He also addresses the most pressing questions on the subject: What do we know today from studies worldwide about the causes of ADHD? What challenges and opportunities does an ADHD diagnosis harbour for children and parents? And in which situations can medication bring relief? In addition to answers to these questions, Oskar Jenni's presentation will provide parents and teachers with practical recommendations on how they can support affected children in the long term.
