Panel discussion from 8 November 2022 (39:15 min.): In conversation with Nik Niethammer, editor-in-chief of Fritz+Fränzi, Fabian Grolimund discusses, among other things, the question of whether parents are responsible for their children's happiness. And can happiness be learnt or is it a matter of character? Research into happiness and life satisfaction shows that happiness doesn't come loudly, colourfully and expensively, but rather quietly. It creeps into our lives when we do work that interests us and benefits others with people we like. It stalks us when we give our seemingly scarce time to people who are important to us. It stays with us a little longer when we realise what we have, what we are grateful for and what we are looking forward to.
