It was always clear to us that we'd split parental leave more or less equally. I have a hard time understanding why anyone would not want to be at home with their kid, since they decided to have one. Sure, money does play a role, but there must be more to parental leave than just the financial side of things. I think I've learnt a lot about myself during my time at home with Elling, including how much I'm capable of - despite the sleep deprivation.
