Special kindergarten booklets «Well settled in» and «Off to school!»
Has your child started kindergarten successfully? And: How can I prepare my child for the transition to primary school? Two special editions produced by the Stiftung Elternsein, publisher of the Swiss parents' magazine Fritz+Fränzi, deal with these questions.
Kindergarten parents have many questions. How do children learn to deal with disappointment and criticism? What behaviour strengthens my child's frustration tolerance? What can parents do if their child can't make friends? The Swiss parents' magazine Fritz+Fränzi has been a loyal companion to parents of school-age children for 17 years. Since 2016, the editorial team has been focussing on parents of kindergarten children with a new series of issues. Two more issues will be published in spring 2018:
- The "Kindergarten booklet 1st year/spring" entitled "Well settled in" is aimed at parents of kindergarten pupils in the first year.
- The "Kindergarten booklet 2nd year/Spring" entitled "Off to school" is aimed at parents of second-grade kindergarten pupils.
On 23 April, around 2900 kindergartens in German-speaking Switzerland received a package containing 20 copies each of "Gut eingelebt" and "Ab in die Schule". The booklets are free and intended for the parents of kindergarten children.
If you belong to the above-mentioned target groups but have not received a magazine from your kindergarten, you can now order individual copies of the special kindergarten magazines at the regular magazine price in our online shop.
The kindergarten special issues "Gut eingelebt" and "Ab in die Schule!" are supported by the LCH. The editorial team of Fritz+Fränzi worked closely with Ruth Fritschi, member of the LCH Executive Board and President of the 4 to 8 level commission, on the planning and realisation. The magazines were produced under the editorial direction of Evelin Hartmann and Claudia Landolt (pictured above from right to left).
We have our publisher, the Elternsein Foundation and every single donor to thank for the fact that we are able to distribute the magazines free of charge to a large number of kindergartens and thus provide parents with important advice and the latest educational findings. If you would also like to support our work, please donate to the Stiftung Elternsein now.
