«Role models like Ellen are so important for our society»
Ellen was able to inspire people for the good.
Although I didn't really know Ellen Ringier - I saw her two or three times at an event at «Fritz+Fränzi» and shook her hand once - her death made me very sad. Not because I fear that the foundation and «Fritz+Fränzi» are going downhill - you're in a good position. But because a person is no longer here on earth who was committed to doing good, who was able to inspire people to do good, who planted many seeds that are now producing good things. More than ever, the world needs people like this who believe in the good and devote all their energy to it.
With her legacy, the good works of Ellen Ringier and all the good thoughts that she put into the people who were connected to her will thankfully remain. I hope that the Elternsein Foundation and «Fritz+Fränzi» will courageously follow in the footsteps of their founder and continue her much-needed cause with dedication. We owe this to Ellen Ringier. I am delighted that you have decided to do this. Thank you for your valuable commitment.

What a shock.
What a shock. I really hope that things will continue for you. I have written down this sentence from her grandfather: «Life is always about giving other people a chance.» What a wonderful life motto. There should be more people who give others a chance. Maybe start doing it yourself.

Full of zest for action
My heartfelt condolences to Ellen's family and of course to you. I am very sorry. Ellen must have been a great woman. How sad that someone who was still full of vigour was torn from life like this.

I admired Ellen.
The death of Ellen Ringier hit me hard. I admired this woman for what she created. It wasn't easy, it took perseverance and a lot of work. I sincerely hope that you have stabilised as a team and can carry on as before. Last week, I received an obituary with a sentence from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe that touched me: «When you think of me, don't be sad, have the courage to talk and laugh about me, leave me a place between you, just as I had in my life.»

You were exceptional.
Thank you, dear Ellen, for letting me get to know you. You had a big heart. You were direct, detested anything dishonest, were generous and had a clear conscience. You were exceptional.

We would have liked Ellen to stay a little longer.
We were shocked to learn of Ellen Ringier's death. She was the shining face of strong-willed commitment, lived humanism, independence and finally relevant, comprehensive information for parents in Switzerland. We are proud to be part of this legacy and will remember Ellen Ringier as an incomparably warm-hearted, strong woman. Role models like her are so important for our society - especially in these times, we would therefore all the more wish that she would stay a little longer. Unfortunately, fate has decided otherwise.

Out of genuine conviction
From my perspective, Ellen was a patron who did not see her task as a duty, but acted out of genuine conviction. Even though she had been ill for some time, this is a moment you always dread. I would have loved to have met her.

A strong woman
It is sad when strong women like Ellen are no longer with us. Fortunately, she has left behind projects for the next generation that will endure. Thank you.

What a loss
I was deeply saddened to learn of Ellen's passing. I can well imagine what a great loss the death of this extraordinary woman with her great personality and her inspiring commitment to the «Fritz+Fränzi» team means. I am sure that you will continue Ellen's legacy with the utmost professionalism and commitment. I wish you every strength and continued success.

Without Ellen, our association would not exist.
I got to know Ellen 18 years ago and am one of the «other people she gave a chance». Without Ellen Ringier, the «Places for Children» association and its daycare centres would not exist. It was only thanks to her that a daring utopia of a small business editor became a place for many children, which was held in the highest esteem when Ellen visited almost exactly two years ago. The news of her death is incredibly sad.
