TV series from your childhood
Are you a child of the 1970s or 1980s? Then you certainly remember the TV series of that time. And if you no longer remember the stories: You will certainly recognise the images and melodies. Watch clips with your children - it's a good opportunity to talk to them about their favourite films, characters and melodies. About how characters were and are perceived. About which media rules applied to you in the past, which ones you liked to stick to and which ones you didn't. That too is media education. And entertaining to boot.
Two times three makes four
Pippi Longstocking is the daughter of a pirate captain who roams the seas. That's why she lives alone in Villa Kunterbunt - with Mr Nilsson the monkey and Little Uncle the horse. Pippi experiences adventure after adventure with her neighbours Tommy and Annika. Pippi is a strong girl - fearless, cheeky and independent.
In an unknown country, not so long ago
Can you also hear the theme tune by Karel Gott, the «golden voice of Prague»? We children often talked about this bee called Maja, her friends Willi, Flip and other insects. These three also fly and hop from adventure to adventure. Maja is adventurous, but always remains friendly. And Willi is anxious, lazy and always hungry.
Who turned the clock, is it really that late already?
The pink panther Paulchen produces chaos, that's his programme. No matter who crosses his path - nobody is safe from the pink bundle of nerves. Paulchen Panther is clever, cunning and a walking disaster on two pink legs for his fellow human beings.
The red Zora and her gang
The titular heroine, Zora, leads a gang of orphans who are treated like lepers and unite to fight everyday injustices. The 13-part series, a co-production from Switzerland, Germany and Yugoslavia, is set in the Croatian coastal town of Senj.
Brave boy, black horse
The circus boy Silas flees from the brutal circus director Philipp and experiences exciting adventures on his black stallion. He is good-natured personified, he couldn't hurt a fly. Teenagers loved the six-part Christmas series from 1981 - boys adored Silas, girls fancied actor Patrick Bach.
Adventures from «One Thousand and One Nights»
Sinbad the Sailor experiences adventures like those from the stories of «One Thousand and One Nights». In the classic of world literature, the clever Scheherazade uses a stylistic device: every night she interrupts the stories she is telling her king at the most exciting moment. In this way, she prevents him from having her executed in the morning. In the children's series from the 1970s, Sinbad is a little boy.
