... Discover Arosa on a scooter. There are several options for a tour that will delight both children and parents alike. For example, from the Weisshorn middle station along the Arlenwaldweg back to the village. Or via the Isel reservoir down to Litzirüti and back to Arosa on the Rhaetian Railway. A scooter ride can also be combined with a hike: for instance, from Prätschli via the Rot Tritt or the Scheidegg to Ochsenalp. There you can hire a «Trotti Taxi» for the return journey.
Scooter hire at Luzi Sport near the station. 1 scooter incl. helmet: 18 francs. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The Weisshornbahn and RhB are free with the Arosa Card. Ochsenalp scooter: hire including helmet (compulsory) for a trip to Arosa: adults and children 10 francs each, 16 francs each without restaurant consumption. ... On the themed trails in and around Arosa, hiking and learning are combined in a fun way, for example on the Eichhörnliweg. Read the wonderful picture book *Being Human is Tiring* to your children along the way, or try your hand at the puzzles. Along the Glücksstein Trail , you can learn fascinating facts about rocks and plants. The Isel Nature Trail gives you an insight into the region's botanical and geological diversity. ... Would you like to start the day with a hearty breakfast? Then take the cable car from the valley station in Arosa up to the summit of the Weisshorn at 2,653 metres above sea level and treat yourself to a generous summit breakfast. The 360° panoramic restaurant offers breathtaking views. If you'd like to put your newly gained energy to use straight away, an easy high-altitude hike of just under two hours will take you to the Hörnli Hut (2,511 m above sea level). You can then return to Arosa on the Hörnliexpress. Alternatively, you can hike down from the Weisshorn on a moderate trail via the Carmenna Hut all the way to Innerarosa.

... If your legs are already feeling heavy from all your exploring and you'd like to discover more of the area around Arosa, a horse-drawn carriage ride could be just the thing. A two-horse carriage will take you on a leisurely tour through the village and the surrounding woods.
Information on the horse-drawn carriages is available at the stand by the station. You can also make bookings there. Rides cost between 100 and 150 Swiss francs per hour. It is centrally located, and the various family room options – accommodating 3 to 6 people – as well as the children's playroom are designed to meet the needs of both parents and children. All rooms, with their homely atmosphere, have a bath or shower/WC, TV, telephone and free Wi-Fi. Guests have the option to wash and dry their clothes. And the sauna is available for parents.

With the Arosa Card , the Arosa mountain railways, the Rhaetian Railway between Arosa and Lüen-Castiel, the local bus and numerous leisure activities such as the rope park, ChippinGolf and the Untersee lido are all free of charge.
