Better reading and clicking guidance, enhanced navigation and the option to save articles individually, new content and a fresh design: we have completely revamped our website and are proud to present our new Internet presence to you in time for the 20th anniversary of the Elternsein Foundation and the Swiss parenting magazine Fritz+Fränzi.
We have been working with the publisher for months on our new online presence. Now our website has been live for a few days and we are delighted that you have found your way to us virtually.

We have tidied up our site visually and thematically, improved the user guidance and modernised the design. In the menu bar you will now find the category «Parental knowledge in 5 minutes» and the editorially curated section «Topics by age» with content specially tailored to your needs. Also new in the menu bar: the Videos and Podcats section.
Free login for you
All texts on www.fritzundfranzi.ch can still be accessed free of charge. For reasons of data protection and so that you can save exciting articles in your personal watch list, we have set up a free login. Registration takes just a few seconds. All you need is a valid e-mail address. The free login gives you unlimited access to over 2000 articles from Fritz+Fränzi. You can also save new texts in your personal profile and call up age-specific articles.
The Swiss parents' magazine Fritz+Fränzi is published by the non-profit foundation Elternsein. Its aim is to educate parents and support parents of school-age children. To ensure that low-income parents can also consume the foundation's content, use of www.fritzundraenzi.ch is free of charge.
As the holder of a Fritz+Fränzi subscription, do I also have to log in?
Yes, subscribers to Fritz+Fränzi must also create a login once. If you wish, the login is saved by the browser and does not have to be entered again the next time you visit the website.
What is the ElternPass?
The Eltersein Foundation has launched the ElternPass as an additional product to support families. It offers access to over 60 leisure activities for the whole family - some with discounts of up to 50 per cent. ParentsPass holders also receive discounts at health insurance companies and fitness centres, hotels and language schools. And at various counselling services.
Our parents' guide Fritz+Fränzi is an integral part of the ElternPass - the cost of the magazine and ElternPass is CHF 98 per year. Existing Fritz+Fränzi subscribers who would like to purchase the ElternPass in addition to their subscription can extend their subscription including ElternPass early and receive the ElternPass free of charge for the remainder of the existing subscription period as a gift.
In total, the ElternPass offers families discounts worth around CHF 4000. Those who do not wish to apply for a ElternPass can still order a Fritz+Fränzi subscription for CHF 74 per year.

Is the content of www.fritzundfraenzi.chalso changing ?
Our aim remains the same after the relaunch of our website: we want to inform and support parents of school-age children. The desire for explanation and analysis, the need for categorisation and exchange has never been greater. We don't point fingers or promise quick solutions. We research carefully and take you, dear user, seriously. We stand for «constructive journalism» and try to inform you with our service and advice pieces on the major topics of family, parenting, school, education, health and puberty. And to inspire you.
We help you make important decisions. If, after reading them, you have more knowledge and say to yourself: «I've never thought of it like that before», that makes us proud. And this message should resonate with every topic, no matter how difficult: Fritz+Fränzi is your life companion - in good times and in challenging times with your children. You are not alone. Many answers can only be found in dialogue with other parents or caregivers.
