«I am interested in the human psyche»
My father is a carpenter and I also wanted to become a craftsman. During the taster apprenticeship, however, I realised: that's not it. I also had a taster as a structural draughtsman, thinking that I could later become an architect. But after sitting at a computer for a whole day, I didn't like this profession either. In the middle of choosing a career, I didn't know what to do. How could I find an apprenticeship if I didn't know what I wanted?
My mum then gave me the idea of trying a career in nursing. I like working with people, I'm interested in the psyche and I also like philosophising.
The taster apprenticeship at the Sanatorium Kilchberg psychiatric clinic was great. I received positive feedback, applied and got the apprenticeship. Now I'm looking forward to the apprenticeship. Maybe I can become a paramedic later on. That's also a dream job for me.
