How to make Android devices childproof

On Android devices, except Samsung, multiple accounts can be set up easily: under «Settings > Users > Add user». Create a private area for each account with its own home screen, personal apps and settings. You can block functions or set up time limits.

You can use the parental control settings on Android to specify which content your child cannot download from the Google Play Store. The store provides a rating of the age at which apps are recommended. Then set up the «Kids Place» app. For example, you can use it to specify that your child can no longer exit the app without you entering the PIN first. You can also set which apps, websites and videos your child is allowed to see. If you activate the «Autostart Kids Place» function, the app will run automatically every time the account is restarted.
