Party game: Tilt Pack
In «Tilt Pack», up to four players compete against each other. The game skilfully satirises the classic fighting game: the brave warriors are made up of colourful rectangles with bizarre faces - but they don't have fists, arms or legs. And so begins a hilarious game of kicking and wrestling. Whoever can stay on the moving platforms the longest wins. «Tilt Pack» is also extremely funny for parents.

Sneak game: El Hijo - A Wild West Tale
The sneaking game genre is usually not necessarily peaceful. «El Hijo» largely dispenses with violence and transforms this game genre into an escape scenario. A young boy wants to break out of a monastery to find his mother again. But this is difficult, as busy monks are doing their rounds all over the abbey. If the boy stays in the shadows, the pious men cannot see him. In the sunlight, however, he is quickly caught. However, the monks can be easily distracted by throwing stones into other corners of the room.

Puzzle game: Sea of Solitude (Directors Cut)
«Sea Of Solitude» deals with otherwise quite «ungame» themes such as loneliness, fear and depression. The heroine is the girl Kay, who sails a boat through a hopelessly flooded city. In the water, sinister creatures with glowing red eyes and predatory teeth are constantly making their rounds. Kay has to wait for the right moment to avoid falling into their clutches.
Conclusion: Atmospheric and profound, from approx. 10 years Jomei Games, Quantic Dream, EA, Switch, approx. 28 francs
Jump'n Run: Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
The evil Bowser has kidnapped a few fairies. Super Mario can't let this get to him and sets off in pursuit. He jumps, shimmies and fights his way through the levels. With the help of a cat costume, he even climbs almost vertically up walls or sweeps enemies away effortlessly with his paw paw. The game has been around before. However, the new version for the Switch has lost none of its appeal and fun. Nevertheless, an additional game has been added: «Bowser's Fury». In it, the eternal villain is even more choleric and dangerous.
Conclusion: Tricky and good, for ages 10 and up

Simulation: The Sims 4
«The Sims» has long been a classic that fascinates children and young people of all ages. This is because it simulates nothing less than «real life» as an adult. So it's all about careers, furnishing your own home, marriage and children. That alone would be enough to fill an evening. To prevent boredom, however, there is a whole series of not entirely inexpensive add-on packs that breathe new life into the simulation.

Serious Game: Democratia
Serious games convey serious content in a playful way. The Zurich-based Blindflug Studios are extremely good at transforming complex issues into challenging gaming experiences. In «Democratia - The Isle Of Five», five players found a civilisation on an island and have to get completely
groups of completely different interests to agree on common decisions. However, financiers and environmentalists have different views and goals.

Jump'n Run: Sackboy: A Big Adventure
The evil Vex has kidnapped Sackboy's friends. He wants to find and rescue them. To do this, the crocheted chap has to run, jump and climb through numerous levels and find as many dream balls as possible. The challenges in the worlds are so different that children and teenagers have to constantly readjust their skills and tactics for the clever variations. The special thing about Sackboy is the real materials used in the worlds, which give the game a fascinatingly realistic flair. Conclusion: Great fun, from approx. 10 years Sony, PS4, PS5, approx. 60 francs
