For the sporty ones: Tschuggen piste
Those who strap on their skis here for the first time will be thrilled: The Betelberg is the family mountain in Adelboden-Lenk and a paradise for the big ones and the really big ones. The ski area is known for its wide pistes, the wide range of children's activities and the many local refreshment stops. The gently sloping terrain from Leiterli to Stoss is a pleasure to carve down. The seven-kilometre-long Tschuggen piste is a gem for sporty skiers.
The Betelberg ski area comprises a total of 45 km of pistes, 24 km of which are blue (easy), 20 km red (medium) and 1 km black (difficult).
In the Swiss Snow Kids Village, skiing almost learns itself.
For the youngest: Kinderland Stoss
The gondola lift takes you comfortably to the Kinderland on the Stoss. Whether it's simple ski lifts, children's lifts, a covered conveyor belt or the magic carpets in the Swiss Snow Kids Village - skiing almost learns itself here. At Kinderland Stoss, families will find everything they need for a perfect day's skiing.
There is a special beginner's ticket for the children's lifts on the Stoss, ideal for first attempts on skis.
For the adventurous: Fun facilities
Roll the film: the Joana Hählen ski movie makes for exciting duels between friends, family and like-minded people. The local World Cup athlete has set a benchmark time on Lenk's local mountain, which is to be beaten by young and old alike. The resulting video is a great souvenir of an unforgettable day's skiing. The award-winning Cross Park also guarantees thrills.
The speedy ride over waves, jumps and through steep wall curves puts a smile on your face.
With speed, jumps and a good dose of adrenaline, the almost one kilometre long course leaves no one cold. The Hasler children's fun course is no less racy: the fast-paced ride over waves, jumps and through steep wall bends gives you a boost and a smile on your face.
Enjoy
For everyone: hiking and tobogganing
On the winter hiking trails and three winding toboggan runs high up on the mountain and through unspoilt nature: the magic of beautiful snowy landscapes and snow-covered forests can also be experienced away from the ski slopes - with the whole family.
On the Betelberg, 16 kilometres of winter hiking trails and three different toboggan runs are waiting to be discovered on foot or on two runners.
For the hungry: catering options
Of course, a stop for refreshments is a must on a family ski day. Take a leisurely break on the panoramic terrace of Berghaus Leiterli or enjoy a cosy snack in the picnic room at Alphüttli Stoss - after all, you'll only get back on the piste if you're well-fuelled. The Berghaus Stoss with its large sun terrace is located right at the heart of the Stoss children's world. It offers the best view of the children's world - perfect for anyone who wants to keep an eye on their kids when stopping for a bite to eat.
Children are in good hands at Kinderland Stoss if their parents need a break during the holidays. The Lenk ski school also looks after the youngest guests outside of ski lessons by appointment: Mon - Fri and Sun, price: 7 Fr./hour.
