A weekend in the Klewenalp-Lake Lucerne region

Hiking on the Goldi Family Safari, swimming in a mountain lake, sleeping on straw: the area around Klewenalp offers nature experiences for the whole family and much more to discover.

Experience

With five different modes of transport and a walking time of around 90 minutes, the Goldi Family Safari is a popular day trip in the Klewenalp-Lake Lucerne region. The pushchair-friendly round trip starts with the cable car in Beckenried and leads to Klewenalp, where exciting puzzles can be solved along the way on the Goldi Detective Trail or Switzerland's newest Foxtrail. Along the route, benches with stunning views and barbecue areas invite you to take a break. Once you arrive at the Stockhütte, you can experience different natural materials barefoot on Goldi's Barefoot Path.

The large sun terrace at the Stockhütte mountain inn and the playground are perfect for relaxing. Afterwards, you can ride a bikeboard down from the Stockhütte to Emmetten. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can take the gondola lift to Emmetten and then the PostBus to Seelisberg. The funicular connects Seelisberg with Treib on Lake Lucerne, from where the boat returns to Beckenried, the starting point of the journey. Those looking to cool off will find fantastic swimming spots in Beckenried.
