... The «malbi-Rondo» carousel in the malbi-Park children's area in the Malbun ski resort is just the thing for the first attempts at standing up on skis. The malbi-Park also has a magic carpet and a simple drag lift for little ski fans. By the way: Ski stars such as Tina Weirather and Marco «Büxi» Büchel have also learnt to ski in Malbun.

... The Malbun snowboard and ski school offers individual and group courses in all disciplines. Up to 45 certified ski and snowboard instructors help pupils of all ages to learn the basics on skis or snowboard. Courses are available for children from the age of three.

... The 1120 metre long winter toboggan run from Sücka down to Steg offers pure tobogganing fun. It's worth trying one of the special fondues at the Sücka mountain inn beforehand. Sledges can be hired on site at the mountain inn.

... The hit for cold winter days: llama and alpaca trekking with outdoor fondue. Experience a special llama tour in the mountain region of Liechtenstein and enjoy a tasty cheese fondue under the stars after the guided tour. Hike from Malbun, Steg or Triesenberg on family-friendly winter hiking trails accompanied by llamas. During the day or at night (equipped with torches or headlamps), the tour takes you along snow-covered winter trails. It is advisable to book well in advance.

Snow crunching underfoot, thoughts flying freely under the radiant winter sun or engrossed in stimulating conversation: The well-prepared Sassweg winter hiking trail in Malbun is a favourite for many different reasons. Winter and snowshoe hikers enjoy the two-hour circular trail, which winds its way between high snow walls, Legföhren and sunny snow hollows. The starting point of what is probably the most popular winter hiking trail in Liechtenstein is the Friedenskapelle chapel in Malbun. Car parking is available at the entrance to the village after the tunnel.

... The Berggasthaus Sücka at over 1400 metres is a former spa hotel and offers cosy rooms for overnight stays. The Malbun ski area, the toboggan run and a cross-country ski trail are all close by.
